TRP Canada — The Reuse People of Canada
The circular materials engine powering production - and open to the community
TRP powers material reuse for film and production builds
Reclaimed lumber available now
We recover high-quality materials from deconstruction projects — including old-growth lumber from early 1900s homes.
- Long lengths (often 10–14+ ft)
- Tight growth rings (20–40+ years)
- Durable, character-rich wood you cannot buy new
Whether you’re building a fence, shed, furniture, or something custom—this is premium material at accessible pricing.
Inventory changes weekly. Available to the public, builders, and productions.
Sustainability on set
Film productions are known for big builds, short timelines—and too often, unnecessary waste.
TRP Canada offers an alternative—sourcing reclaimed lumber and materials that reduce cost, reduce landfill, and demonstrate sustainability in action.
How we support productions
- Reclaimed lumber and set materials
- Deconstruction and donation pathways
- On-site waste diversion planning
- Sustainable production consulting
- Training and crew workshops
Community impact
This isn’t just something to support — it’s something you can step into.
Every piece of material reclaimed does more than avoid landfill—it creates access.
TRP Canada redistributes salvaged materials to builders, nonprofits, and households, while supporting local jobs, hands-on training, and the growth of a circular economy.

What starts here — the materials, the skills, the experience — is part of something much bigger.

Who are The ReUse People of Canada (TRP) and why it matters
TRP Canada is part of a growing effort to rethink how building materials are used, recovered, and reused.
Founded in 2016 and established as a registered charity in 2018, TRP Canada operates independently to serve the unique needs of Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
We reduce construction and demolition waste by salvaging and redistributing valuable building materials. From film productions to homeowners and builders, we help lower material costs without sacrificing quality, minimize landfill waste, and give materials a meaningful second life.
